The ps3 does good numbers 1 week because a new and cheaper model comes out and so many ps3 fans scream that sony's secured 2nd place this gen and will continue to dominate the 360 well into the new year....

Can't you people just be happy that the ps3 finally is reaching an accessible sales price and might actually begin to sell decently instead of declaring it the winner and rubbing it in 360 fans faces? 1 week, is 1 week. Take if for what it is and be civil. I leave for a few months and come back to this and a bunch of BS threads about how the 360 killed FFXIII.

People, like myself, and most internet forum posters liek to discuss theories and teh such.

Personally i think Sony has secured second place. I say this because the demand for th ePS3 was unprecedented and exceeded ALL expectations including fanboys somehow.

The fact its a redesign entices existing owners to purchase as well, and the fact in japan FF and WW we still have GT and GoW properties yet to launch for the console.

If people have greatly underestimated the one week where insanely high predictions were plausible i think people are going to vastly underestimate the legs and sustained sales to new users and current fatty owners who have a legit reason to upgrade.
