Both at the top of Famitsu/Japan's Most Wanted games list.

Both have long histories of selling multimillions in Japan.

Both releasing in December in Japan.

How many PS3's will be sold in December in Japan????

A lot.

Edit: 750,000. And that may be lowballing it.

I think it may even sell more than that tedster, just my prediction.

If both of them release, 500k+

Kinda like:

150k first week (Dec 4)
100k 2nd
150k third (Dec 17)
100k last week

PS2 sold roughly 20 million units in Japan

PS3 is at less than 4 million units in Japan right now


I think there's huge potential for growth in Japan still. It certainly isn't maxed out, I think the best has yet to come for PS3 in Japan.



FFXIII PS3 bundles..... I cant even imagine how much hardware that will move.

300k is the worst case for it.

It just sold 150k... without any huge games.... in ONE WEEK.

I have to think 300k is an extreme worst case and will sell much more than that in December.

About 70-80% of Wii sales.
