Why doesn't MS just ship 100M consoles next holiday and end this console war? Better make it 200M just in case.

For the whole console wars, perhaps, no. But for individual holiday seasons, certainly: whoever makes the most, sells the most.

What do I hate about modern gaming? I hate tedium replacing challenge, complexity replacing depth, and domination replacing entertainment. I hate the outsourcing of mechanics to physics textbooks, art direction to photocopiers, and story to cheap Hollywood screenwriters. NSMBWii will put the Wii back up YoY, thus outselling the HD twins, the same way MH3 saved Wii HW sales in Japan.

@soriku, wat u mean Wii has no bundles, in walmart you can only buy Wii IN bundles, as for the color thing, that only works in Japan, do you see people buying the elite?

That's retailers, not Nintendo, and they're taking advantage of the high demand for the product by forcing their customers to buy more.
