I don't think the wii can do what it did last year & the year before anymore.

I don't see how it can outsell PS360 combined in this holiday

in fact PS360 combined may outsell wii by A LOT

in effect I think the 50% marketshare thing won't be possible for wii this gen.....but hey 48% is statistically equivilant to 50%

Impossible is a strong word. Why is it impossible?

I'm not too sure about this holiday, because I'm not the prediciting type of guy, but saying the Wii won't reach 50% marketshare this gen might just be my first prediction.

I dunno... maybe if they drop the price.

Although I think a good number of Wii owners will eventually buy a HD console. The Wii library is just too weak in comparison.

Because the PS360 lineup of games seems better than the Wii's.

But I would wait to know if GT5 releases this year to say whether it's possible or not.

If they keep things the way they are now, then yes, probably, but Nintendo may yet decide to drop the price or release some new colours or announce a massive bombshell/mass appeal game/product that will up sales again.

What an incredibly bold prediction.
