Doubt it. As impressive as the recent sales of the slim have been, I expect them to drop to pre-slim levels when Natal comes out and the Wii drops its price.

Well, I think it's pretty common knowledge that price was the main barrier for consumers. Now that its $299 and offers more than the competition as a whole package, I don't see why people would choose a 360 over a PS3 unless they like the aforementioned exclusives.

U speak sense. Now the prices are much more level at at a mass market point. What some are not seeing is that the PS3 is seen as much, much more expensive HW due mainly for being the most expensive, and slow to lower in $ and value for Blu-ray. See, this is SONY's strongest weapon and they have used it perfectly and will do many more times due to still being able to drop much more. SONY's price cuts will just have more wait.

The 360 is seen to already be very cheap, $199. The average Joe sees this price only. Even if M$ did lower the Arcade to $99 what would it really do? And Natal... It does seem like some 360 fanboys are sprouting Natal desperately. It is already countered anyway with the PS3 Motion Controls, which seem to, u know actually really work...

Why should Wii drop its price? Unless after the spike PS3 Slim settles on sales big enough to be 1st, Wii doesn't need a cut yet.

Maybe before Xmas 2010 Wii will be cut to $199, I don't see it very likely before, unless the condition I mentioned above comes true.

And think of it from another perspective: Nintendo cannot crush both MS and Sony, so it hasn't any interest to crush only one of them, as the other competitor would emerge from it stronger and more dangerous. It is in the interest of Nintendo to let the others fight each other without interfering and hoping the fight lasts as long as possible. Having to fight MS in Sony's place or vice versa would damage profit.
