So who's been watching World Cup Qualifying??.... If you have then you might know why i feel a bit left down.

Qualifying has never been this intense before.... I know it's too soon to ask but who you think deserves to win next years World Cup?

I'm Dutch and though I do think we deserve a high listing I don't think we are quite ready for a world-cup championship. It's stupid, it always looks like everything will be okay at the start but then the team just flunks as soon as we hit the finals

Oh and watching Ronaldo cry will always be a favourite pass-time

I can't say yet who deserves to win the title, but I hope it will be an African team for the first time. Ghana would be great (a friend of mine is from Ghana and two players from the national team are related to him).

It looks like Portugal won't even participate...

England will win!

If England don't win the WC, I want Germany to. Ballack deserves an international cup after coming so close so many times.

if not England, ill root for whoever plays the best football (or Ireland if they qualify, im 1/4 Irish) 

I'm going for the Netherlands, and they already qualified.

They better as hell win this time. Always getting my hopes up at the beginning... -_-

Sweden and Denmark will go through from Group one I think, Portugal aren't so hot right now.

As for who could win the would cup, I think some teams stand a good chance, namely Spain, Brazil and Germany, but I think Russia, Holland and Italy stand a fairly good chance too.

England don't have a shot. We have good players and a good manager, but as far as winning mentality goes we have none, we think mediocre is acceptable. For too long it seems like our mentality has been "Oh, Quarter finals is a good finish".

I would like to see Northern Ireland in the world cup too, I think their qualification would be well deserved. Unfortunately though I can't see Argentina qualifying. Even if they did qualify then they would fortunate to even make it out of the group stages with Maradona as coach.

Portugal is almost out of world cup . Against Denmark we played quite good and got many chances, but only scored one goal.

And we should have got a penalty just before the Denmark goal, but the referee ignored it.

Today Portugal finally won, 1-0 against Hungary.
