Another LIST War,

All three consoles look terrific game wise next year, the Wii looks better to me because it looks so much stronger than previous years.

I've been hard for half an hour.

Hell Ya , the ps3 has the best line up for 2009 and 2010, i have both systems and for 2009-2010, its ps3 12 games plus to 360, 3 games, in my opinion the 360 line up does not even compete.  its playstations time to shine.

God of War 3, MAG, MLB 2010, Heavy Rain vs Splinter Cell: Conviction, Mass Effect 2, Alan Wake

Q3/4

The Last Guardian, Agent, Insomniac's next game, Starhawk, FF Versus 13 vs Halo: Reach, Fable 3, Crackdown 2, Gears of War 3, Rare's next game

(Some of these dates were pulled from my ass but it's just to give a rough idea)

I like the PS3 list because it has more variety.

360 has some good games don't get me wrong, but when I look at the list here I see "Same old" that I have been seeing this entire generation. More shooters, more WRPGs with shooter elements, etc... Fable 3 is the one "MUST HAVE" on that list for me. I am keeping my eye on Alan Wake though.

When I look at the PS3 list I see Mod Nation Racers, which is your average Kart game I guess, but it has all those modding abilities and level creation tools and ability to host them online and have thousand and thousands to choose from, ala LBP. Auto win for me.

3D Dot Game Heroes. Something that looks so incredibly niche that I am absolutely in love with it. Oldschool style sprites brought into todays 3D realm of gaming. This is such a ballsy move by From Software and that is why I love it.

Heavy Rain. Don't really know what to say about this. Just like Alan Wake it seems to be a very story driven title, but it is still different from everything else out there right now.

Trinity Universe. I love Disgaea, I love Etna. Nuff' said.

God of War 3. Extremely brutal beat em up that will complete what was an amazing trilogy of gaming greatness. How could I say no? I haven't said no yet to any of these titles.

The Last Guardian. Call it niche. Rank on these games for selling low, I don't care. Gamers don't care about these things, neither do those who consider the 2 games that came before this as the only 2 games to have the ability to be considered art. This game will bring out your emotions. These games create an attachment. Not enough can be said.

Then I have Final Fantasy XIII.


I could care less for MAG, Agent or any other shooter on these lists. I have seen enough this gen to make me puke.

Sony's motion controller IS thebest GAMING CONTROLLER. It is better than Wiimote in terms of precision that was demoed at E3 and incorporates several enhancements (Voice control, Camera etc) almost every thing that Natal can do.

Natal would be an AWESOME User Interface (think Minority Report) but as a gaming interface I am not betting on it succeeding. Maybe for a  5-10 minute gamning session it would work but for longer sessions it would feel unnatural and you would have ZERO feedback. Considering how much flak Sony took over Dualshock 3 I am >90% confident that no controller is NOT going to fly with the main gaming crowd (I am trying not to use the word hardcore for people who play videogames often).

It is not uncommon for people to do 2-3 hours video gaming sessions imagine that with Ricoshet (as demoed by MS during E3). A LOT of hype was generated during E3 for NATAL for all the worng reasons. Milo demo (smoke and mirrors), what NATAL "would be able" to do trailer with a fmaily playing games together, discussing what they saw at the mall and dressing up their AVATAR in those clothes, face recognition, voice recognition all thing that will come "eventually" just not in 2010.

Just think that some of these take forever to develop, Eyedentify for PS3 was announced in 2005 we "still" haven't seen it.

It's close, but yeah, the PS3 does have slightly more variety due to the 2x WRPGs on the 360. That said, Fable and ME are very different, and in reality, I think the variety level here is very close.

That said, as a multiplat owner, these games plus multiplat----make me excited. Will Agent release in 2010?

@Slimebeast- lol, I knew someone was going to point that out. But Agent was just confirmed for 2010 and Insomniac will definitely release something. Hence- they're tied.
