I agree 2010 will be the best. Red Steel 2, Monster Hunter Tri (For America), Super Mario Galaxy 2, The Grinder, The Legend of Zelda Wii, and hopefully a Star Fox game. I heard that Nintendo is making a Kirby game too.

2009
Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10
(Boom Blox Bash Party)
(Cursed Mountain)

(Wii Sports Resort)
WiiWare
(NyxQuest: Kindred Spirits)
(Swords & Soldiers)
That doesn't even include games yet to be released in 2009 like NSMB Wii and Silent Hill. For me, that makes 2009 a damn good year in terms of shear numbers. It will be a little while before I can judge the year on quality though.
Switch Code: SW-7377-9189-3397 -- Nintendo Network ID: theRepublic -- Steam ID: theRepublic
Now Playing
Switch - Super Mario Maker 2 (2019)
3DS - Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney (Trilogy) (2005/2014)
Mobile - Yugioh Duel Links (2017)
Mobile - Super Mario Run (2017)
PC - Borderlands 2 (2012)
PC - Deep Rock Galactic (2020)
Maybe third parties should just change their approach.
Instead of making like 5 or 6 niche titles (even if they are something great like Little King Story) ... I think they'd be better off making 1 or 2 game, but making sure they're big releases.
Monster Hunter, Dragon Quest, Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, Red Steel, Resident Evil, Soul Calibur (a real one), Tiger Woods w/Motion Plus, Star Wars w/Motion Plus will sell on Wii (as examples) .... MadWorld, Little King Story, The Conduit, Fragile, etc. will not.
Go big or go home.

That would concentrate the risk of making games. That is exactly what made developers like Factor 5 go out of business.
