I have a friends account that my ps3 is activated with, he already has 5 people using his account and he cant find the other 3, so he cant game share with anyone

I assume since you can connect any hard drive to the PS3 you can connect the PS3 hard drive to a PC and just format it a few times.

thats what happend to my account (200 tropies and 100 bucks =/ gone for good) i never gonna shared my account to anybody ever agian.

as for games. its true, but what are the odds for having 5 YLOD'd consoles? even my PS2's didn't reach 5.... well 4 but its close

the HDD of ps3 are encrypted
it u only can "format" after putting into another ps3 or pc

No I mean the casing of the phsyical HDD is different, so you cant just put it in the slot

god dont get me started on sonys customer service they are unbelievably stupid..
