why make a list of best engines and then list good looking games rather than actual engines (crytech 2, id tech 5, Unreal engine 3 etc) your topic is actually just what game looks better

Halo had pretty bad animations when i saw the live video, but i guess thats bungie's style.
to me winner is Killzone so far. not really seeing the GT/Forza graphic awesomeness thing yet, heck not even Uncharted, the closest would be Heavy Rain, im probably blind or spent alotta time playing games

Its not that Halo has bad animations, its more that you have bad eyes!

Special nominations for inFAMOUS for doing an absolutely amazing engine in _some_ parts, but failing really bad with animations. The next revision of their engine is going to be amazing!

nah im sure halo odst had as bad character animations are the cutscenes in infamous

look here its still the same after all these years,

you know those crazy fast movements that used alot in cartoons? yeah those, these character feel almost as realistic as The Sims / 360 avatars.

Of course it has the same animation. It's the same engine with an expansion which is produced by Bungies B team.
