Something to consider, yeah; maybe even for you :) Kidou Senshi Gundam is NOT part of Dynasty Warriors series, even if both are based on Gundam. Expecting KSG selling as good as main Dynasty Warrios game has no basis whatsoever. KSG is a sequal to PS3 launch title Kidō Senshi Gandamu Target in Sight (known also as Mobile Suit Gudnam: Crossfire or MSG: Target in Sight).

Taking that in to accout I think you will look differently on sales of the game in question as Target in Sight sold something like 0.15 mln units going by Enterbrain (Famitsu) records so the new MSG is going to fly past its predessor sales.

...One could always extrapolate by using averages. That'd put Gundam around 160-190k for the first week. You really should pay more attention to what Munkeh was saying - he knows this site well enough to state that this isn't much different than DW Gundam 2.

The reason I picked DW Gundam 2 was because I remembered it selling about 180k, and it is the most recent Gundam game, even if it is a cross over. Unless I am much mistaken, (or if a simple search of Gundam on PS3 is wrong) the last main series Gundam game, was at launch, and know for being the worst launch title avaliable, so not really useful for comparison

And I'm pretty sure that's NOT counting the bundles

So it should have a huge week for VG Chartz numbers (since VG Chartz tracks bundle games, right?)

Amazing PS3 ownage. If PS3 can sell really good in Japan like the Wii it might be able to dominate the 360.
