well, NSB wii will more than likely be huge this holiday season. I agree that it could be the next big nintendo title. What else do Wii owners have, to look forward to.

That's pretty ballsy. What kind of numbers are you talking about? I.e., is your prediction more focused on GT5 being hurt by lower PS3 numbers or NSMBWii just exploding all over the place? If the reality comes anywhere in the ballpark of TWRoo's upper GT5 expectation (10 mil), that's a pretty high mark to reach in 6 months. |
Well, if Rol thinks NSMB will be a Mario Kart Wii-type explosion, it'll near 10mil without trouble.

Recall that MKWii was pretty supply constrained, not to mention the holidays kicked in shortly after the 26 week period. NSMB is launching right on holiday season. Of course, I don't personally think NSMB will be quite as huge, but it might get close...

GT3 sold around 11 million and was on an install base around what the PS3 has currently.
Prediction:
TGS this year for PS3 will be amazing.
Grandia comes to PSN(PSone classic).
First Versus gameplay this year.

14.87 million, actually. On a far smaller install base of 10 million. But, of course, that was in the PS2's second year, GT5 releases in the PS3's 4th.
