I'm gonna lock the other thread on this and hijack this one's OP to include the full list.
guy i made our own VGC list, vote for your top 20 consoles.
Well I am kinda disappointed that 360 is over N64 and PS1 but not surprised it was put up over PS3 and Wii. Kinda expected it. However I am very disappointed that there seems to be no consideration of failure rates when things like this come up. 360 will more than likely go down as one of the worst built if not the worst buily consoles in gaming history. I don't mean that in a way to strike down anything on 360 features are games just the quality of the design. And yet systems just as comparable that work aren't getting as much credit. That is disappointing.
I guess we can already guess what will be in the top 5 but we'll see the placing. My guess is either the SNES or Genesis will be #1. Or maybe even the NES. They usually seem to be the consoles that win it and for good reasons. And it is quite obvious now that handhelds weren't being placed haha. Even though they are technically consoles just going for home consoles I guess.
The dreamcast also was the first to support motion tech..loosely.. through its get bass fishing rod.. had a talking simulation "pet" game.. had online play, web browser, email, the VMU and ran all those awesome games.. without even a cooling fan..(take that ps360).. in 1998/99...
And a brilliant game library.. 17 launch titles for NA.. which included soul calibur, sonic adventure and NFL2K. all AAA titles.. thats something PS360 hasnt achieved...
for ONLY $199..
Doubt is not a pleasant condition, but certainty is absurd.
owner of : atari 2600, commodore 64, NES,gameboy,atari lynx, genesis, saturn,neogeo,DC,PS2,GC,X360, Wii
5 THINGS I'd like to see before i knock out:
a. a AAA 3D sonic title
b. a nintendo developed game that has a "M rating"
c. redesgined PS controller
d. SEGA back in the console business
e. M$ out of the OS business
If GENESIS is number 1 I'll.......well I'll.......I think words aren;t enough to describe what I'll do

It's already finished, you don't have to sell us on anything.
That motion tech is bull, we've all had this discussion where we 1up the person before us with motion tech that predates the first. "thats something PS360 hasnt achieved..." They have MANY AAA titles. Were they at launch? Nope. Does it matter at this point? Nope.

This list tells me that the PS2, NES, and SNES will all be in the top five, likely the top 3. Wonder what the others are...
