@reaver- if saw...you wouldn't have said that...EVERYTHING will be rite this isnt just another tri-Ace game this is the defining tri-Ace game..SO and VP series weren't big enough unfortunately...but RoF is designed as being the next FF and with SEGA tri-Ace will finally get the next praise they deserve RoF will be the BEST new JRPG IP this gen
Valkyria Chronicles has got a lock on that title, Xxain :p
I'm just curious about the story. The tiny bits of gameplay they've shown me were awesome, but they wouldn't tell me anything else about it :(
well Tri Ace did say that Sega was more open to innovative ideas than Square so i have a feeling this one will be good. But yea im hoping this new partnership with Sega works out and we get a good story and an epic game

Come on Xxain! We haven't played the game and we know next to nothing about the story!
^ i try to find it but your question was answered, basically you set a path..and the character will run along the path a during that you can target a shot anything in range. iirc the special action scenes are a flat animation and get longer and powerful as you LV up
Xxain, my friend, if your hoping for it to see the success or be seen as like the next "FF"
please stop hoping......thats highly unlikely, especially as its releasing so close to the golden cow of gaming itself Final Fantasy XIII
it is likely FF13 will overshadow it, they should delay ROF....till holidays 2010 then spend $100 million dollars on marketing
only then is there a chance of it being the next FF
