I see it as 357,568 units sold world wide for the ps3 (199,000 sold in the U.S.)

I see it as 235,778 units sold World wide for the 360 (135,000 sold in the U.S.)

I see it as 374,890 units sold World wide for the Wii (209,000 sold in the U.S.)

So I see the wii edging out the ps3 and the 360 getting outsold.

The PS3 has been getting hammered in the Americas... I don't think they won last week and this week isn't going to make up for it

The PS3 release date was September the 1st so i dont expect anything but a little rise. Not to mention they didnt start advertising untill the very end of august 1st september whatever.

I saw ps3 slims at my local futureshop and bestbuy as early as aug 25 here in Canada.

The PS3 slim will be priced at $299 United States/€299 European Union/£249 United Kingdom/R$549 Brazil/AU$499 Australia/NZ$629 New Zealand/MXN$3,999 Mexico/ P 10,000 Russia/¥29980 Japan and is scheduled to be released on September 1, 2009 in North America and Europe and on September 3, 2009 in Japan, Australia and New Zealand. Amazon.com, Best Buy, and GameStop have started to sell the PS3 slim on August 25, 2009.


The official launch in the US is september 1, Though I believe some shops have begun to sell them early, Either way its now available in north america and tommorrow all territories.

Im guessing August NPD will only have about 120k ps3's, september >300k
