The PS3 slim will be priced at $299 United States/€299 European Union/£249 United Kingdom/R$549 Brazil/AU$499 Australia/NZ$629 New Zealand/MXN$3,999 Mexico/ P 10,000 Russia/¥29980 Japan and is scheduled to be released on September 1, 2009 in North America and Europe and on September 3, 2009 in Japan, Australia and New Zealand. Amazon.com, Best Buy, and GameStop have started to sell the PS3 slim on August 25, 2009.
The official launch in the US is september 1, Though I believe some shops have begun to sell them early, Either way its now available in north america and tommorrow all territories.
Im guessing August NPD will only have about 120k ps3's, september >300k
