I love console gaming. I dislike handheld gaming.

I am cry.

But at least we're getting something. It'll at least make me pick my DS back up. =\

More sad than happy.

Here we have a cult classic getting a sequel..

But it's going to be on a handheld and made by the team that did the Wii port so the original developers of the PS2 title won't be involved.

I agree on Zelda.

Dragon Quest: Not only is IX the best Dragon Quest I've played(played IV, V, VIII), it is one of the best games on the DS, and probably the most "epic" game released this generation. Also the remakes are just that remakes, but I've had yet to hear about them as being toned down for the DS. More like upgraded.

Final Fantasy: I don't see what the worry is here. They are all remakes of Nes/Snes games, and a few built specifically for the DS. Nothing main series.

Golden Sun: this is the worst one you noted. The first two were GBA games. I would be angry for it NOT to be on DS.

Castelvania: Much better than the console releases. I don't see how a console 2D castelvania would be "less" toned down than a 2d DS one.

I am not bothered.

I probably wouldn't have bought a sequel had it been on the Wii anyway, putting it out of my reach on the DS doesn't make much difference.

Don't get me wrong, I really liked the game, but it would have to be incredibly special for me to buy a sequel.

I think the DS is the best console this generation, and I think this reinforces that opinion. There are only so many excuses you can come up to disagree with that, and Nintendo is drowning them one game at a time.

True that, Zen...though I like the DS, I can´t help but feel a bit sad a handheld system is pwning home consoles so hard this generation (this is my stance since I prefer by far home systems).

As successful as the original GameBoy and GBA were, I don´t remember them kicking their bigger 'brothers' with such force.
