Quiet Cool White Box, Way to bring 360 up here troll.

1. at least 1 other did already

2. it's the first thing it brings to mind given the predictions of it being multiplat

3. quiet cool?  yeah awesome

edit: and actually I won't even leave it at that: I'll point out that when I started an FF XIV thread and put it in the Sony forum, at least 5 people came in just to say that it shouldn't be in the Sony forum, and a number said that the reason was, not the PC, but that it WOULD be coming to 360.  One of the main points of interest, ever-present, with XIV is which consoles it will end up on.  This news bears on that subject.

@QCWB

It doset matter if anyone else brought up 360,this is a PS3 exclusive, this isnt available on 360,no need to bring it up,that goes for anyone.

and oh yeah HDD install = Quiet and Jasper = Cool.

:)

One way for 360 to get an advantage is people with gold members pay less or no monthly subs.

Anyone who thought there wasn't going to be a subscription need to think harder. If FFXI had a monthly sub, why the hell wouldn't FFIV????

I'll be surprised if it didn't!

beacuase there is much more competition and there is WOW and their first attemp flopped compared to every other FF sales

but it did not flop in the MMO space.. not one bit

well back then realtive succes was 400k subscribers now thanks to WOW it has to be ~5million and that will never happen, but WOW showed that the mmorpg market was HUGE and that every other MMORPG was just a huge fail.

Who honestly thought the game wouldn't have a monthly charge and who just wants to say lawl off my list?

DC online doesnt have it.

and many mmrpg are either transactions or expansion based.

so probably some of us needed confirmation.

And it shows. DC online is crap.

Yeah it definitely depends on the game. If you want an epic style game with lots of content and lots of features, you are gonna need to pay a subscription. If you can find a game that does a few things very well, like a story line, or awesome combat, but not so good in other areas, then a non-subscription game can be good. Problem I see is lots of 'free' games have very annoying ads or buyins. Id rather pay a subscription if it means I don't get milked to death by having to buy in game items for cash.
