Or at least the comment section.
4. Which platform do you enjoy the most?
Xbox 360: 41 percent (5,033 responses) PlayStation 3: 32 percent (3,906) PC: 19 percent (2,359) DS/DSi: 3 percent (363) Wii: 2 percent (266)
10. Do you want to play Wii Sports Resort? (Wii)
Yes: 38 percent (4,638 responses) No: 51 percent (6,261) Not sure: 11 percent (1,299) 12,198 total responses.
"The 51 percent negative for Wii Sports Resort sends a pretty strong anti-casual message from the readership. The gameplay variety and motion control aspect seem to do little to overcome our posture that we like our games deep, we like them to have narratives, and we like them to have guns and shooting."

If it weren't for Stephen Totilo, I'd have removed Kotaku from my bookmarks. Here's hoping he decides to write somewhere else.
Aside from gonintendo (which has way too many posts!), are there any good pro-Wii or pro-ludology blogs?

I've always heard it called ludism, rather than ludology, but in general if you want a ludist standpoint, you're not going to find it among video-game industry professionals: they've become wedded to simulationism because it's so much easier to market. For a ludist standpoint, start looking for other sorts of gamers who also do video.
Miyamoto would probably write a good ludist blog, but he doesn't seem to have a blog at all.
Complexity is not depth. Machismo is not maturity. Obsession is not dedication. Tedium is not challenge. Support gaming: support the Wii.

What do I hate about modern gaming? I hate tedium replacing challenge, complexity replacing depth, and domination replacing entertainment. I hate the outsourcing of mechanics to physics textbooks, art direction to photocopiers, and story to cheap Hollywood screenwriters. I hate the confusion of obsession with dedication, style with substance, new with gimmicky, old with obsolete, new with evolutionary, and old with time-tested.
There is much to hate about modern gaming. That is why I support the Wii.
