with some legs it will sell like 1.2 only in japan,plus american an european sells with help a lot, and all the money that capcom is making for all the online users that have to pay, capcom must be really happy.

i expected bigger numbers, but i think MH3 couldn't make bigger numbers on ps360. I also yhink thath this partnership between capcom and nintendo is due to the ability of nintendo whith make big succes in west whith japanese franchises

After 4 weeks of sales:

PS3 - MGS4 - 590k

X360 - Blue Dragon - 126k

Total - 716k

 

Wii - MHS3 - 830k.

 

So the best selling games on each console in Japan after 4 weeks comes to 716k and is still more 100k less than the 1 single game on Wii and you think somehow it would have sold better on PS360 and that these numbers aren't big enough?

MHF on PSP did alright compared to MHF2 but that's what kick started things for the handheld. Maybe we'll see a similar trend with the Wii games.

I seriously doubt that. It outsold every PS3 game's lifetime Japanese sales by the end of its 2nd week... it's hard to argue it would have done better on PS3. It's also by far the best selling 3rd party console game this gen, and likely to double MGS4's lifetime Japanese sales or more.

It's obvious Capcom made the right decision by releasing this game the console with the bigger user base and will make way more money due to lesser devolopment cost, but I really think this game would have been huge no matter if itson the Wii or PS3, it's one of the biggest franchises right now in Japan thanks to the PSP.

BTW, I am getting sick of people calling this game a bomb, that's just crazy talk.

WHAT? You say that it would have also sold 1 million copies on the xbox 360, that has a 1.13 million innstall base in Japan???
