Forums - Gaming - Why is the new Batman game so incredibly hyped? It's just a AA game.

yeah i really don't get why people love this game so much and why they are saying its a AAA game

Because it's a lot of fun to play and has a 91 metacritic?

Thanks for the input, Jeff.

Just finished demo today.
I actually like this game.

What tha hell?

Its one of first hollywood games that are actually great.

It was made by Rocksteady which hasn't made single game for this generation yet.
It was made by little, 55 person group.
It was puplished by Eidos which has lost all reputation due bad games like Tomb Raider and Kane and Lynch.

Take my love, take my land..

I prefer Lego batman =p.

I'm guessing you didn't read the OP.

It's a very good game that deserves to be hyped... It even deserves to be hyped a lot more than some other hyped games. It's not that much of a riddle...

Although I know it's a joke thread this game really need to be hyped.

I am absolutely loving this game. I love everything about it so far.

me too.

i hope they make a sequel

I would be excited for a sandbox Batman game in Gotham City

It wouldn't work as well. The size of Arkham was perfect for an adventure game. You can have giant open worlds in an action game but in an adventure you need contraints to allow for careful puzzles, exploration, and clever stage design. Whatever sequel they make needs to be a world of similar size to Arkham... or at least not much larger. Learn from Metroid. That's where this game took its adventure elements, and they used them for a reason. They work well.

Not every Batman game need puzzles.  A sandbox Batman can and will work if some actually develops it.

Yes, they do. Otherwise it would just be a mediocre Spider-Man clone. I wouldn't even consider that game. This is why developers should never listen to gamers. You guys could fuck up the first Batman franchise before it even gets off the ground.

lol

We still love you though.
