^ I think it's supposed to be played better with the classic controller or something like that

I see, but wouldn't that defeat the purpose of it being on the wii? o.0

Not at all.  Actually, the Classic Controller is only on Wii.  Also, the Classic Controller Pro is only on Wii.  Capcom may have but the game on Wii because that's where the vast majority of consoles users are this generation.  For example, maybe you noticed Draqon Quest is on DS.  That's because the vast majority of non-PC gamers in Japan this generation own and use DS.

I would agrue that it does. It removes the only advantages the Wii has on its compeition other than userbase.

so you wanted to point and click on monsters or flick the wii-mote to swing your sword?  Come on, the game has been established with the control style and they shouldn't have to change it.  Forcing in motion controls is the worst thing developers can do.  Do it where it makes sense, don't force it.  It is still playable with wiimote and nunchuck it just doesn't use motion.

Of course I didn't, but I'm arguing that the lack of motion controls remove the reason for making it only on Wii (excluding userbase).

Yea except the higher userbase and lower costs are exactly the reason why it's on wii.  It makes sense for it to go to the Wii, I have a hard time imagining it would have sold better in Japan on a HD system, it ports easily to PSP as well.  Capcom probably saved themselves quite a bit of money by doing this.

I wonder if it is just a local thing.

The Bic Camera website lists the bundle at 7640 yen.
That is slightly cheaper than the price on Amazon.jp of 7800 yen.

*By the way, looking at the trailer for this game, the graphics might get me to buy it since it looked really really good -- so good I didn't realize I was looking at a Wii game.

Think I saw The Source mention the poor supply of the CCpro bundle in this week's Japan preview again...

Yeah, he did. Without a shred of anything to back it up either. Just think, sales wouldn't have dropped another 25% if these pesky bundles weren't sold out everywhere!!! Quick Japan, get down to Bic Camera, Yokohama - It's the ONLY place they got 'em! Oh, and Amazon too....

To be fair, I think the preview is based on one store and I would guess that that store is out. He wouldn't say it otherwise. At least I believe him!

I read his stuff. He does a decent job but is blatantly pro-Nintendo.

To be fair, hanafuda's comments are based on one store as well...

And he's a pro-Sony...
