The best game ever made. The game is as close to perfection as I have ever seen in a video game. It completely sucks you in. Every moment in it is enjoyable. I could honestly go on for ten paragraphs about how amazing this game is, but I think the critical appraise and awards that it received speak for themselves.

Snake went out like a fucking hero.

^You should! when you get some extra cash pick one up and try the game out. Or find a friend that has it. I just wish the game was longer.

My friend just told me that he bought it for his PS3. I'll be sure to give it a try when I get over there.

There are times I actually wanted to put the controller down and just watch what was going on, the motorbike chase and the Raiden/Vamp fight for example. The end battle is probably one of the greatest moments in any video game (IMO of course). First time round I played it in SD and now I have a HD tv I think another play through is on the cards.

That's what I did a lot of the times I'd put the controller down to watch and watch the cut scenes, but every now and then I'd have to push X or L1 and I'd be rushing to get the controller, Hideo keeps you on your toes lol

It's not out in the UK PSN. I don't know whats taking them so long.

lol you like a story with a lot of twist? and you haven't tried MGS yet!? your going to be in for a good ride :)

I bought the essentials (MGS1,2,3) for like 20 bucks, you should be able to get it just as cheap online.
