What were the figures from last week?

Wii is doomed in NA :(

MikeB predicts that the PS3 will sell about 140 million units by the end of 2016 and triple the amount of 360s in the long run.

Price cut + supply constraints = 5% increase....it will be interesting to see if it drops to an all-time low next week or not before the Slim arrives.

Consoles Owned: Atari 2600, NES, Sega Genesis, Sega Saturn, N64, Gamecube, Wii, XBOX360

Will wait till the middle of September - early October to see the effects Slim PS3 have on sales.

LOL, PS3 is deader than dead in Japan!

It is interestinng how WSR had the weakest effect in the US, it moved more hardware even in Europe!

In Australia the PS3 is only being released on the 3rd of September. At my local EB games store they have 16 pre orders already and I live in one of the smaller suburbs of Sydney. I'd say the launch should be pretty decent.

ps3 really needs a price cut.

Yeah, the WSR magic is wearing thin already. Just sustaining sales. I don't think NSMBW is going to push it back to 100k non-holiday NA sales, either.

Don't sit on your hands too long, Nintendo. Get ready to be serious about stimulating demand.
