@ TWRoO - Any idea where all those people went? I mean was there a mass shift to a different or new company? or did people generally just disperse?

Some of them have found Free Radical - the company that makes Time Splitters and Haze amongst other games. Some others founded Zoonami, a company that has yet to create something interesting. I don't know where the others went, though.

Of course. I'm an idiot. I completely forgot about Free Radical. Thanks fan.

Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!

Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.

So Nintendo can release Banjo on VC if they wanted. That's good enough for me...especially considering we have no idea how good or bad the third Banjo will be.

Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

The only hitch I can foresee is Microsoft releasing Banjo Kazooie on XBLA. Which isn't actually a hitch, I'm sure Nintendo could still do a VC release, too...it just wouldn't be a Wii only thing...

I say golden eye with Wii controls releases for the vs for 2000 points. Or the without for 1000 points.

JT: I think since Microsoft owns us as well, the Game Boy team carried on doing the Donkey Kong Country ports. I think Nintendo are quite happy with the arrangement as well.

JC: There's no conflicts with the rest of Microsoft's output. I think, as far as they're concerned, if it makes money, they're ahead.

Microsoft should let that part of Rare act as a dummy 3rd-party on handhelds, as a way to get Microsoft's game into a larger market in Japan. Nintendo doesn't seem to mind at least.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

I already new Nintendo could bring Banjo-Kazooie classical titles to VC. I was already well aware of that I was also well aware that Nintendo had co-operation from RareWare on the Donkey Kong Ports as well as on the Nintendo DS.

In the future I think RareWare and Microsoft might take a far more dominant role in the Nintendo handheld market. On the DS Microsoft is nearing about 5-titles now aren't they I mean you got AgeOfEmpires , MechAssualt , DiddyKongRacing , Viva Pinata and that is just the begining.

It is Microsoft's aim to weaken Sony in every way possible, the Nintendo handhelds are the most likely to inflict damage on Sony's market share. PS3 is already going down leaving PSP the last chance at turning a profit!

You forgot Blue Dragon is coming to DS...that was a big 360 title.

Yeah, and 2 other Mystwalker RPGs. ASH and some unnamed game.

Goldeneye is no longer owned by Rare. It's owned by Activision. They have all say on any future releases of any game with the 007 title including remakes of old games.
