I'm interested to see what everyone's opinion is of where units sales will go for the Wii, 360 & PS3.

I will start:

At the end of 09:

Wii = 55-60m

360= 20-25m

PS3= 15-20m 

Interesting prediction for the PS3, no offense but if shame isn't an deturant in your predictions then why not just put it in in first place? 

GGe : I will have such a good time when the PS3 will finally pass the 360 ... your old predictions will be so freaking lame . People are really not expecting that the PS3 will take off afther the pricecut , and the game lineup/Home of 08 ... I mostly agree with you ... I actually expect the PS3 to hit ~ 8 million this year , and somwhere around 35 in 3 years ... but pretty similar ...

i do think this opinion is correct. cause ps3 is dropped in price, and games will come. Sony itself is the 3th game developer in the world.
Next year there will be awesome games for it too.

XBOX360 does have nice games too, but looking at simply technology and knowing the price of PS3 will become almost equal to the XBOX360 i honestly think that the PS3 will start to outsell the XBOX.

The WII is a category of its own... Low quality, low prize, but very tempting for a total new group of ppl who never bought consoles. Also the new gameplay is also very nice.

So by 2009 i think the WII will still be in the lead followed by the PS3... XBOX360 will be dieing i think, cause there will already be a XBOX720? (or however microsoft is gonna call it)

I'm sorry, but I've not got a clue what you are talking about here.  It's muddled English.

The PS3 is tracking at a similar rate to the XBox, XBox 360, and Gamecube and will continue selling at a similar rate for the rest of its life. After an awful Holiday 2007 for the PS3 third parties will move the majority of their development resources away from exclusive development on HD platforms and there will be an even split (in resources) between multi-platform HD games and exclusive Wii games; this will result in a larger Wii library with more "Break-Out" titles whilst the XBox 360 and PS3 maintain a small library of more tried and tested games and genres.
