Well....

Its the first Konami game on wii?

After 3 years???

Oh, my bad, the first Konami games on wii were Dance Dance Revolution.

Is there anything else?

Yep, Konami loves the wii

Castlevania Judgement came out less than a year ago. But yes, they aren't really showing much love for the Wii.

And don't forget Silent Hill.

Game looks graphically terrible but fun to play. There's still time for developing, hope it improves.

"And don't forget Silent Hill."

Oh, I forgot about that. I guess they are warming up to it.

But I don't expect much from a port. And I don't see how the graphics are bad considering the car models aren't meant to look spectacular, and the backgrounds are still detailed. The big thing is that the backgrounds have low texture resolution. The last part depends on the size of the levels.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

There are only 16 cars. I know they didn't spend the rest of the time designing the environment lol The cars don't have much additional work done on them from the original source do they? The pedestrians still look like the player models from Crusi'N on the N64 12 years ago.....

The 17 million people who bought Mario Kart prove that racing is actually the SECOND BIGGEST market on the console, right under fitness. However, I'm guessing they only buy games that play fun AND look clean. I don't think that is so much to ask.

Anyone got pictures from the arcade version? I'd like to see if these problems were there in the first place.

looks like a PS1 game, this is very lazy from the developers or they have a budget of about $20,000 to make this game.

that number is just made up btw.

@LordtheNightKnight, Arcade versions website is here - http://www.konami.jp/am/gti/

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

Thank you.

Looking at that, the pictures are smaller, but the graphics look about the same. Even the backgrounds and the pedestrians.

So complaining about the graphics on the Wii isn't really saying much. They're doing a port of the game, not a remake.

Now Silent Hill is a remake, and that is looking good.

not to be an ass, but that looks bad for a wii game, i know its an arcade port but they ported the same game on PSN and it looked amazing.

this one looks like the arcade version, im not comparing PS3 to Wii, but for a retail game that is too lazy.

Even thought the Graphics seem bad , this is a Good game , its VERY fun its not a Sim or anything its more like Ridge Racer or Sega Rally.

There's a difference between in motion and still frames.
