No, allegations of him molesting little boys destroyed him. It was never proven that he did. It was also highly unlikely. The media also ripped him apart for his skin change, even though he couldn't do anything about it. They're disgusting, you know this just as much as anyone else.
Jackson died of drug overdoses just like the majority of great musical idols. He will be missed.

He certainly was a child lover, but I don't think he raped any children, only touched them a lil bit.
The skin change he could very well have done something about. He bleeched himself to become white. But obviously he was blaming it on vitiligo (which I'm sure he had - a few spots, but that's also what gave him the idea to go all out) to not look stupid, it's a lot more honorful to state that 'nature made me this way".

I don't know the details, but there's several methods, chemical mostly (although hormones and other factors can depigment skin too).
You just try to destroy the pigment producing scells for a permanent effect, or remove the pigment for more transient effects.
Haven't you heard why most female porn stars have white butt holes?
EDIT: let me just emphasize that I always really liked Michael Jackson as an artist, and as a lovable person. I just stated what I believe is the truth and it doesnt affect my sympathies for him even if it would be true. For example, IMO there's a big difference between being a 'child lover' and a child molester.
