You think PS2 games are expensive?

Go look on Ebay for games like,
Castlevania: SotN
Suikoden
Suikoden 2

I really do wonder if the last two will show up on the Euro PSN store....

Wishful thinking....

Some time ago I made a list for myself of last-gen games I wanted play. Here it it:

Indigo Prophecy

I played this game's pc version. Really easy to get. cost: free

God of War

This game is still widely available. cost: € 12

God of War II

As widely available as its brother. cost € 11

Metal Gear Solid

This one became available through the PSN Store. cost: $10/€7

Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty

I got this one second hand. The case is broken though. cost: €7

Cost so far: € 37. There were only 3 games left on my list, but this is where the problem started:

ICO

Very rare, but I managed to get it second hand yesterday. I found this was getting a bit expensive. cost € 32

Shadow of the Colossus

Very rare. Seems like this will costs me a lot of money

Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence

Snake eater seems to be buyable rather cheap, but I believe this version of the game is vastly superior. Haven't managed to get it yet. It's rare and will cost me a lot it seems.

So do you think it's normal to pay 40+ euros for games like ICO, Shadow of the Colossus and MGS3 Subsistence? I'll probably be paying the same for them as for a new full-priced game, but I'm still feeling bad about it. What should I do? Should I just get them? Will they ever be rereleased in the not so distant future? Now I'm certain ps2 classics will arrive on the ps4 at least, but I don't think I should wait that long. Are they worth their price tag?

Maybe I should try to resell them after having beaten them as their value isn't really going to drop.

I have Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence

I got it at a pawn shop a few weeks after the game released for $20. :P Was it hot? More then likely, but I could care less haha

You want to know what price is ridiculous?

I went to Walmart today and in the PS2 section they had Armored Core 3. Game sells on eBay for around $10. Walmart was asking $49.97.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Life could always get worse, you could be a mod for Neogaf

Yeah even a lot of last gen games are still overpriced.
