Who in their right mind would buy a console that is more likely to break down than not?

And again, how much of the 8 million unit sales gap between PS3 and 360 is from people buying new 360s as replacements for their broken systems?

Since MS just entered the console race with their 2nd unit...they can improve upon this. Failure rates are bound to occur...No H/W is perfect.

Yeah, ok.  I don't know if you knew this but your supossed to get your post count high, and get tons of people to recognize you, so your fake words hold more depth, and new members will trust you.  Also get an avatar, and sig so people will recognize you better. 

Now you know how I feel.  It is their ANA scaler POS.  No matter how many times I Arctic Silver the thing.  I have a Xenon that I have played for 2 years and then it quit on me.  Now I fix it on occasion when I have time and am not involved with campaigns to just waste the time.  PC for me it seems like.  Though MW2 is something I wanted to play on my X360.

A sale is a sale...doesn't matter how it happened.  You can speculate all you want but at the end of the day the numbers won't change.

How many people didn't buy 360's cause of RROD?  How many less sales would have the PS2 sold if not for the slim, and for their breakdown problems? How many more PS3's would Sony have sold if they would've had a much lower entry price?  How many duplicate sales will be made for the PS3 because of the upcoming slim?  How many more PS3's would have been sold if they would have launched first this gen?

Do you see how retarded this is getting?  There are always a buttload of "what if's" but at the end of the day it never changed a damn thing....

And to sum it up.  If so many 360's were duplicates due to breaking down, then why does the 360 have the best tie ratio despite the games being by far the most pirated of the 3 consoles?

Do you not know anything about statistics?  A simple survey of a thousand people can accurately represent an entire population, coming within 3-4% of the actual value.
