I bought Metroid Prime 3 a year ago, and i didn't like the controls, or rather i didn't give the game a chance. This past week, i started super metroid on the VC and i finished it on thursday night. Suddenly i thought, maybe it was time to give MP3 another chance, and i did. I started the game again today, and everything just clicked. The art in this game is amazing, one of the best looking games ever, and i think its underrated. I hated the controls at first, but i think they're the best in any wii game. The story and voice acting are awesome, so far the game has been a cakewalk, but the game just feels like the first time i played super metroid, but with more action. I believe this is my favorite wii game at the moment, and it destroys super mario galaxy, which is the most overrated game ever. Metroid Prime 3 is the best game on the wii, and i can't wait for Metroid: Other M. Long live metroid. Best franchise from nintendo :)

I don't remember too many people saying that they do not like the game. I was the same way as you with Metroid Prime 1 for the Gamecube, I got it around the time it came out beat the first boss and quit playing for about 2 years. I came back to the game and played it for a week straight beat it and loved every minute of it! I would put Metroid Prime 3 as the 3rd best Wii game after Mario Galaxy and Tales of Symponia DOTNW.

Stop going on about reviews, that's not what he means. Generally, when people try to express how good the Wii is, they will cite Super Mario Galaxy as the main game, and sometimes add on with Mario Kart Wii, Super Smash Bros. Brawl and perhaps Twilight Princess. It's actually not very often that people bring up Metroid Prime 3. I believe the OP means that MP3 is underrated by the masses, so to speak, but not by reviewers.
