It doesn't surprise me that Sony fanboys think it's unfair when other sony fanboys get banned. I'm pretty sure most users here can make a list of the most banned 360 fanboys and it'd be pretty consistent in who's on that list for most people.

Anyway, the notion is offensive because even just a few weeks of having sales ahead of the competition, all these "PS3 domination begins..... NOW" comments and fanboys seem to be coming out of the woodwork. It's annoying for a neutral, but I'd be pissed off if I was one of the PS3 loyalists that stuck around during the tough times, just for these bandwagon jumpers to come in when times are good and fly the flag.

The whole world is being payrolled >.< Everyone's actuall acting, Sony's losing this gen on purpose, and Nintendo's only winning so that Microsoft's victory would seem even bigger. But the console wars is only the beggining. With the huge news of Microsoft's victory in the gaming domain, a surge of pro-Americanism and hope would spread across the American continent. To end the drug war in Mexico, the US would demand that it be allowed to invade and rescue the people of South America, taking the entire American continent (after conquering South America merging with Canada and Brazil as the American Union).

Long story short, Microsoft will become self aware, and after Bill Gates becomes the dictator of the world, even he would be absorbed into the entity known as Microsoft. The entire world shall become one, due to the money hatting of M$.

But as a last ditch effort to save humanity. Bill Gates creates a special robot to go back in time and stop his former self from activating skyn...i mean, windows 8.

Honestly I cannot feel sorry for any member of the Fanboy legion. They are just a rung above trolls. I have however noticed sadly that the term Fanboy is often applied to members that are not. Sure some members are fans or have a bias, but those members actually discuss the issues in a rational logical way.

They comprehend the difference between reality, theory, and conjecture. They are willing to do the research. Use the numbers, or provide insightful links to uncommon knowledge. Frankly they can be as biased as they want as long as they are backing up their arguments.

A Fanboy on the other hand fights their private little war through faith and veiled insults. Show them some numbers, and they will scream in rage. Try to disprove them even though they have no clue what they mean. Except that they come from Satan. Provide a link, and they will argue that a industry professional is actually a agent of the enemy, or more laughable just plain stupid.

I could care less if every vacant Fanboy on these forums got a boot shoved right up their ass. Why don't they just go to a fanboy forum somewhere. You know away from the insightful people they often run into on these forums. Who you know don't understand that a piece of plastic, and some circuit boards isn't the second coming of Jesus Christ.

I don't often read your posts Dodece, i find them a little long at times but i agree with you wholeheartedly here.

For example claiming the PS3 will catch the Wii in Japan within a year is not at all offensive to me, but it's an offense to common sense, gaming trends and mathematics.  It's fine to love your system but all the PS3 Slim has on it's side at the moment is potential, the numbers are very clearly stacked against it.

All it takes is one thread like that and the "PS3 slim will......." threads all start to look the same.  Created with so little thought and so little concern for logic that it starts to become a little infuriating.
