I don't know PS2's graphical power games but GC/Wii had nice ones.
It's the same generation and both companies went for nice hardware, there shouldn't be much difference.

The console with the best game-developers got the best graphics over time I guess :P

The Wii is more powerful, i don't know exactly by how much, but its not by "GREAT" deal, non-the-less its more powerful.

IMO nobody has really tap'd the wiis real power yet, Another M looks to be the best and so does MHTri but thats about it.

Chaos Legion would look the best on Wii i think if it comes on for Wii (as-well as PSP)

So in conclusion Wii overall is more powerful but i dont know by how much because PS2 does have some nicer looking games then wii. valkyrie profile 2 silmeria and the original chaos legion for sure.

But... As for PS2 VS PSP, im willing to bet PSP games look better then PS2 games now.

I own both consoles and its safe to say that Wii beats Ps2, not that Nintendo has put much effort into showing off this point with the shit it pumps out such as "big beach sports" and "carnival games"

It was a game that I own on PS2, Gamecube AND Wii that brought me to the conclusion.

Originally a gamecube exclusive, the graphics had to be watered down for the playstation 2 version, but they tried to compensate for this point buy including extra unlockable content.

I love my PS2 to death, but anybody who says it's games look better than the best Wii games are just lying. Either to themselves, or to us.

Metroid Prime 3 could never see the light of day on the PS2. Neither could the Conduit, SMG, or other top games.

So the WIi has been downgraded from a GC x 2 to a regular gamecube with motion control?

trying to argue this with people that insist the ps2 is more powerful is pointless, I've met people that in earnest will insist the snes is more powerful than the atari jaguar (granted jag trash like club drive and trevor Mcfur doesn't help, but show me even a super fx 2 game that gets anywhere near Iron Soldier 2) and neo geo (because samurai shodown looks much better on the snes)
Resident Evil 4 should close this argument alone, but it won't, The gamecube had rogue squadron 2 at launch, that should close the argument, but it won't
shame factor 5's wii game will never see the light of day as Factor 5 always said their GC work was fill restrained and the wii has 3x the fill.
anyway most of the ps2 games with top visuals are well designed, but rely heavily on tricks and work arounds to make things look good,
God of War 2, mitten hands look great now? could have fooled me, plus extensive lod'ing and fixed camera
Gran Turismo, racing games tend to look great (world championship rally on 64, Test Drive Le Mans on DC, which had ps2 level polygon counts, Sega Rally on the Saturn, gran tursimo on anything it is on,), unfortunately the only racer that pushed the visuals on wii/gc was F-zero GX, which doesn't look similar to gran turismo at all

plus a limit of 6 cars in any given race in gt4
Shadow of the colossus looks fantastic but the framerate isn't that great and the world is pretty sparse and their is never more interacting things than the wanderer, the colossus, and argo

Wii developers don't care about graphics at this point and surely are at least x 0.5 behind the actual power. RE4 was a GC port, Galaxy isn't thatgreat if you think about games like F-zero GX that was a ton faster.

the gamecube was better graphically than the PS2, but not alotta people used it fully. thus making PS2 games like MGS3 outdoing the gamecube's games graphically, as for the wii , no some games look like crap ,but some don't
