oh and about the media center comment a lot of the media servers online are run on a linux os, so its not OS controlled its determined by software
Out of topic question.
Does Gamestop accept console trade-in for X360?
What about the warranty of RROD issue? Will Gamestop cover the warranty?
It (PS3's market share) might hit 30%, but definently not more. ~ Neo

why would i do that, it would be gaining a console but losing another one, makes no sense to me, i'm gonna buy one but not this year

Why is VGChartz like talking with middle schoolers (not so much, you, Bokal, but definitely Xoj)? |
To sum up my thoughts, I'm a casual online gamer, I play regularly maybe once a week online, if I had a 360, I wouldn't have paid for LIVE, and so I wouldn't have been able to play online, never.
But since PSN is free, when I get a new game, or when I'm bored playing alone, I can fire a quick multiplayer game and just enjoy.
And if I don't play online for a long time, it's fine, my money isn't lost.

VidZone’s service was extended to the PlayStation 3 video game system in some PAL territories (UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Australia and Ireland) on 11 June, 2009[6], allowing users to watch music videos on their PS3 or streamed to their PSP via Remote Play. The service will be expanded by another 11 countries: Belgium, The Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Luxembourg, Austria, Switzerland, Portugal and New Zealand by the end of 2009.[7] There are over 13,000 videos currently on the PlayStation 3 service, with more being added every week. The majority of videos are from artists signed to both Sony Music and the Universal Music Group.
XBL has the Video Marketplace...which will be Zune MP soon...which is the = to the PS3's VidZone....Unlike Sony...MS does not have any ties to Music Labels...So LOL....What happens to all those other artsist not signed by Sony and Universal?
Oh yeah...They are on XBL.....I don't know if it's free...I have never checked it out....But I have paused and look at it's cover and tons of Artist are doing special stuff exclusively for XBL...
Play TV.....Sounds like a DVR for stuff that is allready Free...I see how this is usful if your into that.....
Now...Much like you said....VidZone,Play TV are only for the PAL.....Hardly a good point for me...Guess I should get Netflix....
/Fail
A broken 360 is worth like $30 credit towards a PS3 slim. BTW The Slim are now out in America! Trade in those 10 RROD/E74 360s you have lying around for a PS3 Slim! :D

That would actually be pretty hilarious--seeing someone walk into a store with 10 360s and saying "I'd like to trade all these for a PS3."
Something like that would also make for excellent marketing potential.
