Does anybody have any idea when these Blu Ray players on laptops will be more energy efficient? I know that it was a similar problem for DVD players, but it was handled eventually accordingly.

I'm looking at some of the Sony laptops, and I was told that the Blu Ray players are still battery killers.

Sure....The ability to work, communicate and entertain yourself on the go is definitely useless. I mean I could just carry around my desktop and monitor for same effect.
