Pandemic I have no clue or don't care about. Bioware however sounds plenty interesting. I forget though, was it Bioware or another company that made Neverwinter Nights 2? If it was them, then I'm going to care less.

Baldur's Gate was great but if it was them responsible for NWN2 then they're already declined pre-EA.

Were they also responsible for KOTOR? I swear, games nowadays have so many companies pop up in the intro scenes that its ridiculous trying to figure out made what.

Neverwinter Nights 2 was by Obsidian, I believe. KOTOR followed the same pattern - first Bioware, then Obsidian.

Yeah, both sequels were Obsidian.

Bioware is a great company. EA owning them won't hurt them. The only thing it will do is make their games better funded.

I really hope EA just give them a pile of money and say "keep doing what you do best". Bioware games are some of my favourites and if they keep putting out good games and just put them on Wii then I'll be incredibly happy.

So in otherwords. EA couldn't seem to make good Wii games so they bought two development studios to handle making Wii games for them.

Hopefully this means they'll leave them alone... and not rush them too much.

EA just loves gobbling up otherwise good franchises and developer, even if it means more games for the Wii I feel uneasy about this. I can't help but think they're positioning themselves to emerge as a viable new console player should the Ps3 end Sony's reign in consoles.

Yes! Yes! Yes!! Bioware on Wii!! I always thought the Wii would be ideal for a Buldur's Gate type game and now it might actually happen. Too bad there's no way Wii will get Mass Effect.
