Bumper damage?lol

But war... war never changes

Why the hell is damage all people care about? Are people so insecure that they need to grasp at this so much?

Damage is the least important part of a racing game.

Damage is only important for online. To stop idiots from smashing into you as you break for a corner.

You shouldn't need damage for the single player, unless you're doing it wrong .

It's important for online play... without proper damage people will keep bumping into you and it becomes more of a bumper cars game than racing.

Not if it effects the car, especially during multiplayer..

See if you have damage that effects the way a car drives, you are less likely to just ram someone out of the way just to get ahead..

Damage is a very important part of a racing game, if it's used correctly, and if you want a true racing experience.

sega4life you made a good point which is realism... these racing sims are supposed to be about realism, not just in graphics but also physics.

With or without it, the game will still sell better than the competition, I know I will buy it with or without damage

Pretty much this. A proper penalty system would be a better use of time if you ask me. If wankers smash into you then YOUR car takes damage too... The system in GT5P was a step in the right direction but was broken. I can't understand these morons that queue up to play demos, only to deliberately stuff the car into a wall so they can scream ZOMG look at teh damage!!!

PSN - hanafuda

1st: Damage is cool
2nd: People screaming "GT5 will be the best driving sim ever" are annoying, even more when the game doesn't even have a proper damage system
3rd: I'm still looking forward to play it
