Forums - Sony - Have you bought another ps2 when ps2 slim was released?

Well, I know many people that already had the big ps2 and bought a ps2 slim because it was slim. Have you done this too?

I sold my original PS2 and bought a Slim PS2.

My original PS2 had lost the ability to play DVD movies, so I bought a slim as a replacement since I had some extra money.

I purchased 3 PS2 slims after my first phat one due to traveling and leaving stuff behind

i've bought 2 phats, slims lack the explotation qualitys phats have(the same applies to psp)

My PS2 finally died shortly after the slim came out, so I then upgraded to the slim so that I could play without having the console at 45% or sometimes more

Nope when the ps2 slim came out, I kept my original ps2.

TO GOD BE THE GLORY

@ Torillian
Then you don't want to know the fate of all four of my DSs XD

But I feel comfortable to know my phat PS3 is still at my father's house in the middle east after almost 8 years, my first PS2 slim is at my brother's in Chicago with my copies of GOW 1 & 2, and I still have one of the other two. I have no clue what happened to my silver one!
