Back before the last price cut that the 360 had in Others, the PS3 had narrowed the 360's lead to 600,000.  After Microsoft's last price cut, the 360s reversed the situation and their lead in Others is double what it was before the price cut. 

Now that Sony PS3 has a new price point, do you think they will begin cutting into Microsoft's lead in Others again?   Do you think they will get it as low or lower than last time?  How long do you think they will be able to do so?  And do you think Microsoft will reverse the situation again?

I think, as far as MS doesn't change the arcade 360 price, that PS3 will pass Xbox360 in others

It will only take a couple of months. Before 2010 Euro-gap is probably erased.

Maybe a couple of weeks? Im not sure when the price drop/stock status gets resolved.

Before 2010, PS3 should catch 360.

I think that it won't be too long until the PS3 is gaining sales on the 360 but it all depends on what software there is to keep the momentum from the price-cut going to get the sales above the 360! It always will be PS3 lead in Japan and 360 lead in Americas, these will never change but EU can and likely will!

If GT5 releases this year, its likely that the PS3 will lead by 1 million in Others.
