Better game library is subjective to the gamer. It seems this generation, the press more has told gamers to consider themselves real gamers that they need to like Halo, Gears, and online FPS games.
If you don't care about Halo or Gears, just like some don't care about Blu-ray, then the 360 value goes down a lot. If you are not big into online gaming, that's another factor. If you have a high end PC, then you realize many of the games Microsoft calls "exclusive" are also on PC - eg., Mass Effect, L4D, etc. For me, Tales of Vesperia was the only true exclusive that I really enjoyed. It's had 1.5 years on the PS3 version, so I'll give MS credit. But with all the improvements, I'm excited to play the PS3 version.
All companies try to promote their value and say they are the best. Fanboys get offended by simple advertising from the companies they don't like - and that's not going to change. I expect MS to promote their product. They aren't just going to say "Oh Sony is better." Same with Sony.
"Naturally the common people don't want war: Neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, IT IS THE LEADERS of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is TELL THEM THEY ARE BEING ATTACKED, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. IT WORKS THE SAME IN ANY COUNTRY." --Hermann Goering, leading Nazi party member, at the Nuremberg War Crime Trials
