Then stop pretending that you have insight in Namco's decision making. ;)

He isn't; he's taking what they said, and comparing it to reality. Which is considerably more possible to do.

I'll keep that in mind the next time that Capcom make a statement like "Games like Zack & Wiki don't make us profit" and similar posts. Or when Resident Evil 5 isn't "Capable" of being made. I've seen people turn on Capcom like they have completely ignored the wii despite making several great games. I've seen people write about how much they detest THQ, despite them publishing (which I don't care if they developed or not, it was their decision to publish the game) de Blob. I dealt with the "Ubisoft Boycott" despite the Wii already having Red Steel (one of the better earlier release titles) and No More Heroes. I've heard people bitch and complain about the slightest reference to the Wii in any tone that wasn't favorable, yet my reference has nothing to do with reality. There is a slight chance that the people involved in the hundreds of pages I've read of people going at it with several companies who actually DO the Wii justice do not include LordTheNightKnight and Trestres, but that doesn't change the fact that those threads go on for hundreds of posts.
AND when it comes down to it, a spokesman for the company said that statement . Does that necessarily mean that he is the final decision in the matter or reflects directly how Namco feels about the idea? People will jump on 1 persons comment as if that were the final word in any matter. Also, Look at Activision. Infinity Ward want NOTHING to do with the Wii yet Modern Warfare is being made on the Wii and there are developers who are willing to work on it. I'm sorry but at least I've read statements in these forums where people attack the companies to know that people do overexaggerate and freak out over nothing. LordofTheNightKnight doesn't know what all of what Namco says. He just read a response that Nintendo Everything had to an article that wasn't even directly translated from another language about what 1 person said about 1 game and is completely basing his opinion off of that.

For your first paragraph, I suppose that's more directed at Lord than me. Regardless, I would argue that of Capcom and Ubisoft, two of the three example companies you gave, the games they've released for the Wii, while good, would not be considered by many to be particularily high-caliber games (specifically, Capcom's rail-shooters (yes, those are fun, but you-know-what-mean)), save de Blob. Ubisoft's offerings have been rather meager (apart from No More Hereos, they've been absent since Red Steel). Anyways, not many other 3rd parties do anything on the Wii, and makes statements such as these. Also, I've also seen these "slightest references" many people have criticized Nintendo fans for overreacting on and found them to be considerably more than just not favorable.
Yes, this thread is based off of one person. But that person is the spokesman; I would think that position would carry a little more weight in word than just any employee in the company who talks. Additionally, it's not like this type of statement hasn't been made before, so, at this point, it would be a bit more safe to assume that, yes, the implications of of those statements do reflect what their companies think.
