Sometimes I kinda feel alone in regards to believing the wii is a good system for hardcore gamers. A lot of the time I feel like the majority of the internet hates nintendo, and a couple of ragtag groups of nintendo supporters on different forums are the only resistance.

It seems like you can't have a single article on the wii without someone playing the old "wii is ruining the industry" card that seems so cliched now.

I don't feel alone. Too bad if some gamers ignore the Wii, they don't know all the cool games they are missing out on.

OT: Yes sometimes i fell alone, because when wii has a great line up 2/3 of people come on topic to say that it won't boost HW, that the HD twins have a better lineup or simply that the Wii is doomed...instead now that PS3 had a price cut (which will boost sales a lot, i'm sure) all the people are going crazy and saying fanboy's things (= without think before speak)...i hate those! No console ruins the industry, it's a stupid thing to say (stupid thing, not stupid person)!

in the words of MOVIEBOB, I doubt that the industry will be killed by a system you can play smash brothers on.

That's why I'm buying a PS3 Slim soon. I still have to decide whether I'm going to sell my Wii or not (obviously I really don't want to, but actually I have only time playing with one console and one handheld)
My friends always try to make sell my Wii, because they don't really see what so special about it is.

If there was only Nintendo in the gaming industry (hardware) then I don't think I'd game as much as I do now. I do like Nintendo games but I just can't be bothered to play the Wii. You'll notice though that this certain 'Nintendo killing the industry' propaganda only started when they released the Wii and began to outsell Sony and now all of a sudden Nintendo's a bad guy. But Nintendo doesn't afraid ub dem Sony ruvers becos day r stupit!

Nah. The Wii and DS are cool. Any time anyone comes over, that's what they wanna play.
