1 or 2 more weeks but I think itll be actually about 20k behind a week after that (about a draw to 50K less per week for PS3 in holidays)

you have to take into account that there is more to it then just a 100$ price cut, there is now also a new advert campaign, a new design and many long awaited titles coming out (Gran Turismo 5, Uncharted 2 (not very well known), FXIII) these titles will help the PS3 do some massive numbers in the beginning of December..

Week 3 numbers are up so anyone who said 0, 1 or 2 weeks to overtake missed.  Might conceivably be one more week if there is a depression in Wii sales due to awareness of the impending price drop.

Week 4 numbers are up.  Anyone who said 3 weeks or fewer to overtake missed.

With the Wii price cut in effect for next week's numbers, it's probably safe to say that Wii will outsell PS3 in Week 5 (ie. 4 weeks to overtake).  These three users split the jar of jelly beans between them (although ithis and finalrpgfantasy get to choose flavours first because RDBRaptor's answer was noncommital):
