The dirtsheets are back to speculating that KENTA is going to join the WWE, mostly based on ... well, nothing, really.
He visited the WWE performance center a few months ago and now he's leaving NOAH. It's a possibility, of course, but so is New Japan. This is really a back breaker for NOAH.
Personally, I have trouble imagining what the WWE would do with him creatively. He'd need to have a manager and he probably doesn't have enough size for them to consider him as a main event player. Maybe they'll do another Japanese stable and team him with Albert (ha).
Or, better yet, put him in a tag team with Devitt.
Speaking of Devitt, on the same PPV where he lost a 'loser leaves NJPW' match and turned against Bullet Club, this happened:
AJ showed up, took out Okada (the Champion), and revealed a Bullet Club t-shirt. Awesome way to show up and great booking to tie everything up.
On top of that was a very, VERY interesting match where Tanahashi (basically like Cena except he's fantastic in the ring) acted kind of like a heel against Nakamura and had everyone booing him.
THAT'S how you book a PPV, where everyone has far more questions than answers. Invasion Attack was excellent and most of the matches are worth watching.
