I'm still not sure about lawler this recovery seems so fast, did they enhance the situation to write him off the air for a few weeks and have Cole go neutral?

I would say a scripted and made up lawler heart attack would be in too bad taste for the WWE.

Then again I remember when they used Lawler's Mom's death the night after she fucking died to further a stupid angle.

So i'm going to say no... but the WWE isn't above it.

big show's dad's death.

Vince teases JR's Bells Palsy all the time.

Vince and creative are a bunch of remorseless assholes.

I don't see this situation being staged in any way. People will for sure, you know Elvis and MJ faked their deaths right? ;)  However, it is to good of a situation not to take advantage of it. Jerry is ok, so it has to be used to some degree. My guess is The Rock will drop this on C.M. Punks plate in a promo of how big of a heel he has become. There is nothing wrong with that, its not remorseless, it's just life. Makeing light of bad situations, helps to heel, and promote a positive attitude.

Moving on, how about Smack Down. A hell of a performance by Daniel Bryan and Kane. This has become one of the better angles in a very long time. These guys are both great in and out of the ring. Kane has been a blessing in disguise <- for years, and it is great to see DB emerging as a younger talent.

It's good this thread is still active. I haven't been keeping up with wrestling in along time. I stopped watching TNA for almost 8 months b/c it just got boring. I can't remember the last time I've seen Smackdown. I watch RAW sometimes, but, I just can't get into it anymore. I really miss the gold ol' days.

I just watched RAW. OKC crowd was aweful. I love how Ryback botched his finisher, twice....

Ongoing bet with think-man: He wins if MH4 releases in any shape or form on PSV in 2013, I win if it doesn't.

To be fair, that was Tensai's fault...dude totally sandbagged ryback.  He was supposed to hop up, instead he just stood there as dead weight, and Ryback didn't bend down far enough.

It wasn't just Ryback's fault.

Also:  CM Punk has had one of the best heel turns ever.

Ok, he didn't botch it then. It was still pretty embarassing especially since Antonio Cesaro picked up that other fat guy.

He didnt botch it, it was Tensai's fault, Ryback picked him up easily this past week's smackdown.

I don't know... i've seen plenty of knoweldgable wrestign guys...blame the botch on Ryback and not Albert...

and to be honest... it makes a LOT more sense.

Ryback is still relativly green.

While Tensai is a LONG time veteran who isn't really known for botching... I mean he was a pretty big guy in Japan, and if there is anything Japan values... it's being able to execute moves well.
