Christian heel turn looks pretty good so far, I hope eventually he gets the title back.

I haven't watched Smackdown in a month due to me being mad that Christian lost the belt, is it pretty decent i.e. they're not burying him?

Nope, and he seems like someone who blaims no one, but is in reality blaming everyone (even if he isn't actually saying it).

They've been doing a great job with him actually. The whole main event scene has been revolving around Christian.

sweet I'll have to start watching it again
So they found a way to give Edge and Christian a great final Wrestlemania moment, make Christian a champion, make Christian a heel (as originally planned), AND make it all work. Good job, WWE!
My story with the WWE was interesting. I was HUGE into it in the late 90's and up to I think 2004 or 2005 (I gave up around wrestlemania 20 or soon thereafter). I loved pretty much everything about it, and I never got bored of it. I went to house shows, Raw and Smackdown, and even Wrestlemania 18 in Toronto (if you look closely, you can see me and my friend on the DVD).
But it's really gone downhill since then. like I said, I stopped watching soon after Wrestlemania 20 (Summer 2004 I think it was), and on a whim decided to check out Wrestlemania 27. I downloaded it, and WOW...I was entranced with how absolutely BAD it was. Like, not so bad it's good, but so bad it's bad again bad. seriously, Michael Cole and JR should not be a friggin wrestlemania event.
But for the hell of it, I decided to continue watching (and have since then, I'm currently up to date), but I honestly cannot figure out why. Nobody has a fraction of the charisma the superstars had back when I watched it. The storylines aren't funny or epic or dramatic, there are almost no high flyers or stuntmen anymore. I remember watchning the Hardy Boyz, Dudley Boyz, Edge and Christian, Jericho, and dozens of my other favorites having a LOT of fun in the ring, now it all seems so standard. so commonplace.
And where the eff are the gimmicks?! remember when Crash Hardy put his championship on the line 24/7? That was SO fun to watch every commercial break. Now everyone looks and acts pretty much the same, or has some boring-assed gimmick. Cody Rhodes with that face mask? seriously? At least Orton vs The New Nexus was interesting,b ut that ended as quickly as it began, in my eyes (I just came back, remember.)
And to top it all off, ALL my favorite wrestlers are either gone, retired, on hiatus, or dead! (well maybe not dead, but still.) Mick Foley has retired, The Rock appears 95% retired save the occasional appearance, Stone Cold is long since gone, The Undertaker appears to be gone, Edge just retired, Jericho is off doing other things, the Hardy Boyz are in TNA, I have no idea where t he Dudleyz are, Crash Hardy is dead (right, I knew there would be one!) Triple H is...I have absolutely no idea. he disappeared after wrestlemania. Benoit is dead, Angle is gone, everyone is gone! Sure, I know that's jsut how it goes, wrestlers get old, they have lives to attend to, but their replacements are BORING. the only major star to come out that I've even remotely liked has been Cena and Orton....and I remember HATING Cena before I left.
Whatever happened to good teams? where's the Tag Team Division? where's the hardcore division? it's just....so much potential.
I admit, this is the one thing in the world I pirate...I don't actually have Television (I usually just buy DVD's), so I download every raw and smackdown, but seriously people, this is sad. I could (and do) write better than this.

He's been involved in the main event/title scene ever since he lost the title, and they've making him look like a real contender. Practically, the story regarding the World Title is mostly revolving around Christian losing the title, and how long it took him to win the title. Smackdown has been pretty good as of late. Makes me very excited for the Smackdown house show.
