That Wrestlemania was average at best if it weren't for HHH vs Undertaker it would of been a sinking ship. The main problem was that it had one of it weakest match card I've ever seen in my life and it didn't really play out any better. Mind you I only started watching from the 8 man tag-team match so I'll give my ratings from there on you guys can fill in the blanks.
Corre Vs Show/Kane/ Santino and Kingston: The match was pretty much over after their flurry of finishers (Which resulted in a match time of 3 minutes), no build-up, no tensions just a quick dose of adrenaline and that is it.
Score: 4/10
CM Punk Vs Randy Orton: It really did have the potential too bad it didn't live up to it. They emphasized on Ortons injury too much and that got in the way of the wrestling. Which left them with the washed-up trick of the RKO saving the scene (even thought it was well executed)
Score 6/10
HHH Vs Taker: It had everything, starting with HHH entrance which I personally thought was the best in the night and I thought he stole the show he battled toe to toe with the Undertaker showcasing his cerebal-grit against the Phenoms tenacity. It really did keep me edged to my seat, albeit I knew how it was going to end but the ride was great.
Score: Match of the PPV 8/10
Mix Tag Team Match: It started quite well with Trish and Michelle having a decent wrestling match mind you, what followed was a line of congealed mess... So I don't wanna comment any further on this.
Score: 3/10
John Cena Vs The Miz: This suprised me in how quickly it tried to change our mind on the Miz's "championship pedigree" he took the initative and for duration of the match dominated so for that part WWE played it well. After the miss-hap between Miz and Riley, Cena took seige (yeah I know) and after the match being counted as a draw (count-out). The Rock came out to liven things a little which in his terms means restarting the match (making the No DQ and No countouts) just to Rock-Bottom Cena and give Miz the win. That wasn't all he then followed it up with a quick spin-buster to the Miz and the good ol people's elbow. The watch was great to watch but it didn't have that "Wrestlemania" feel to it as it felt it could of easily been done in a main event in monday night raw.
Score: 7.5/10
