Sounds about right I guess.
Although there would have to be duplication of some game assets across the disks, the PS3 version will more than likely have some assets duplicated over the single blu-ray.
So trying to judge the relative quality between the two platforms based on current knowledge is pretty pointless imo

It's going with 3 dvds because they are compressing it meaning that the cinemas of the 360 version will be in dvd quality while they will be in blu-ray quality on ps3. It's like you go in a Wal~Mart and you can get the dvd version of Watchmen or the blu-ray version.

S-E has stated numerous times that both versions will be indentical, meaning that if the 360 version has downscaled videos the PS3 version will have to as well.

It's very interesting that after 3 years of PS3 exclusive development, the 360 version is only 20% behind the PS3 version even though they haven't actually started porting it yet.

so you're saying FFXIII will never be released? because SE said they wouldn't start the 360 version until the PS3 one was done?

Unless they meant that they'd start the 360 version after the Japanese version was done, which would make more sense here, and also means a firm, close launch date is imminent (in Japan at least)
