US and Japan so shocked and stunned by the news that they haven't bought a single console yet (Judging by all the n/a's in the OP).
Only Others was so far behind that they'll only get the news later, perhaps next week...enen though the news came from Germany.

This was the week before the slim was announced. It is also, like every week for the last while, a result of drying up stock and anticipation of the PS3 slim/price drop. This week should be relatively low too, there are almost no consoles left, I cannot find a single one in my city.

It would if the timeframe included the PS3 Slim announcement and folks other than this forum knew it was coming. Now the news has hit mainstream it could be seen as obvious for future weeks.

I bet next week we see at least a 100% increase in PS3 sales
