I can Confirm that this particular battle was not a high end objective based Match-up, Online there are both Objective based matches and slaughter based matches, more than likely many more different types of matches as well that were not included in the Beta.

wtf, why was there no lag? 256 people with no lag? thats crazy... might have to get this instead of MW2

Reminds me of Battlefield 2, and that's a good thing!
Could be good but it depends very much on latency and, of course, what kind of players it attracts. A lot of potentially good online FPS' are ruined by being packed with insufferable players who act like asses (Halo 2 online springs to mind).
I think I'll stick to Team Fortress 2 for my online FPS needs to be honest.

Looking good. I wonder how hard will it be to get 256 people to play this game, theres always as least 100k+ playing halo 3, so this game will need to rack up a community.

I hope there's some variety with vehicles and such. It reminds me of Battlefield 2 and that was a game that had some great moments. However, I hope MAG has stuff like ground vehicles and air vehicles.

I think I just don't want to see all 256 players fighting on foot.

Imagining how this could have been on PC makes me drool. Definately a contender against battlefield 2 for most fun FPS.

Will be a killer app for the PS3 for those who enjoy war-style FPS game. (War-style = Battlefield style, games that actually makes you feel like you're in a war with many other people)
